A little bit about the blog and me. I post a couple of times a week (on a good week) with the main theme of viewing life from the perspective of my children (about the blog). They make me laugh, cry, and think more deeply about life, which is something I’m passionate about sharing with you. My hope is that you can participate in that laughter and, just maybe, experience more of the joy and fullness of life as you consider their perspective.
I also write and share my thoughts about some other things that may interest you, including the suffering process after my friend’s death, The Dark Knight, and social commentary on current happenings in the broader culture. Here are a few top posts:
- The Wheat that Falls.
- A Long Slow Answering.
- You are what you read.
- Wisdom from the Batcave.
- Hey Bob! Won’t ya be my neighbor?
- Life is about poop.
- If you answered yes… feel normal.
I’m a Christian, husband, father, sports fiend, avid hunter and outdoorsman, runner, and writer. As a sportswriter from Colorado, I’ve covered Division I football, basketball, professional hockey and every other local high school sporting event you can imagine. After several years as a journalist we moved to Kentucky where I attended Southern Seminary. I now work full-time as an online editor in the hunting industry.
